Round 1 - Early Season (January / February)
- Pre-emergent spray for control of crabgrass and other grassy
weeds
- Spray for over-wintering weeds including onions and dandelions
as needed
Round 2 - Spring (March / April)
- Additional pre-emergent spray to extend grassy weed control
throughout the summer
- Spray for broadleaf weeds including chickweed, clover and
henbit as needed
- Balanced fertilization to promote root development to stengthen
turf for summer heat
Round 3 - Late Spring (April / May)
- Spray for late germinating broadleaf weeds such as fireweed
and also crabgrass and other grassy weeds as needed
- Balanced fertilizationto continue root development for summer
heat
Round 4 - Early Summer (June / July)
- Spot treatment for troublesome weeds such as crabgrass and
nutgrass as needed
- Balanced fertilization to maintain green healthy turf
Round 5 - Summer (August / September)
- Continued control of troublesome weeds such as crabgrass and
nutgrass as needed
- Lime application to adjust pH level so future fetilizations
are utilized more effectively
Round 6 - Fall (October / November)
- Spray for early germinating broadleaf weeds including onions,
oxalis and spurge
- Starter fertilization to promote root strength and germination
of newly overseeded turf
Round 7 - Winter (November / December)
- Broadleaf weed control for over-wintering weeds as needed
- Balanced fertilization to strengthen turf for winter months
